Belle et Petite Pacific Place Jakarta

Congratulations Belle Et Petite for finally opening its first store!!!

It's just amazing how something that started as a home business making its way to the public through online promotion, growing and then finally decided to take steps further ahead by opening its first store, must be one inspiring journey eh, and in this case, it's one of my most favorite online macarons shop!

Technically the store's actually an island store, but it's enough to prove that Belle Et Petite is shouting "game on!"

 It's just tiny and cute!

Tiny seating area for four. Good thing about dining in is they also have selections of their special gourmet tea, didn't try it but I surely will next time!

Look at those colorful macarons! They currently have 12 flavors in store but initially if you look at their Instagram or Facebook, they have 16 flavors in total including their so called "Premium Flavors" and the other four could be seasonal. Their "Original Flavors" ranges from Tiramisu, Blueberry, Black Sesame, Marie Regal, Lemon, Rose Petal, Lychee, Taro, Milo, Cookies & Cream, Earl Grey Tea, Green Tea to Peanut Butter, and their "Premium Flavors" are as interesting such as: Nutella (LOVE!), Burger (with cheese) and Red Velvet.
As for the pricing, each one's sold for IDR 15k/piece, a little more expensive than the online price which is IDR 10k - IDR 12k/piece, but since this is a store and after all those administration thingy I still find it pretty reasonable, well it's not like Laduree where you could spend up to IDR 40k/piece right and not to mention when you buy online there's also courier fee and you'd have to wait a little longer (pre-order).
If I have to choose my MOST favorite one, then I'll go with their Nutella macarons... So yum! My top 5 would be this plus their lemon, green tea, peanut butter and taro (or cookies and cream), even hard to decide the top 5!
I think I have tried all of their macarons (except their Burger) and I must say I am pretty impressed with their creations. First, the texture and the consistency of the macarons sure worth the praise: they have just the perfect round flawless crispy shell and chewy moist inside, plus they also give quite generous filling without overpowering the whole portion and the filling was actually quite tasty and actually have flavor, not just some shitty macarons you buy somewhere with only plain sugar sweet flavor. Overall, they make good macarons that are not crazy sweet.

I have high standard for food and this sure pass mine.

Here are some of the more decent pictures I've taken before.

A box of guilty pleasures! Tiramisu + Nutella + Peanut Butter = Triple Threat!

They also have mini macarons FTW!
While I am still waiting for Laduree or Pierre Herme to open here in Jakarta, I am more than pleased to know that Jakarta's very own artisan macarons Belle et Petite is not something to underestimate as they have amazing macarons in both textures and flavors, and most importantly, this is an Indonesian brand so I guess we should be proud of this ;). Best of luck!

Did I mention that this is not an advertorial and I am in no way paid to write about this so before you assume things because I keep on raving good things about this, shut up and try! Cheers and have a great day!
